About the Captain

Mike Duclos has been a student of Long Island Sound and the surrounding waters since 1982. He has taken several Coast Guard courses and is a Coast Guard Licensed Captain. He also has added a commercial towing operator's endorsement to his credentials. Mike is an avid fly fisherman and has tied flies for over 20 years. The flies that he furnishes are tied by him personally.

All are welcome on his boat. Whether you are an expert fly or light tackle enthusiast or new to the sport of saltwater fishing, Mike will make every effort to instruct you and assist both young and old to improve their skills. Mike will work diligently to make your day on the Tiderunner a memorable one.
